Working in her uncle's real estate office, Jade is hoping to pick up some handy experience to go along with her law degree. Her daddy had set the bar high and although she did want a future with a like-minded man with a successful corporate career, she wouldn't be left behind to stoke the home fires. She was going to make a success of herself as well. The rough looking biker walking into her uncle's office looking to rent a property didn't fit that bill, and although he made her tingle, his attitude pissed her off good!

Adopted at a young age by members of the Scorpions MC, Ryder escaped an already miserable childhood turning even uglier. With his mother dying, killing a man, losing his brother and doing some hard time in juvie, he had enough baggage to last him a few lifetimes. When one of his 'saviors', now prez of the Scorpions MC, needs him to step up and take care of the family, Ryder doesn't hesitate, he owes his MC family everything. And the snooty, pinned up real estate chick who is judging him, doesn't have a clue.

Despite getting off on a contentious foot with Ryder, Jade can't help but think about him constantly and Ryder finds himself with a certain smart-mouthed priss on the brain. A business arrangement putting them together every few weeks settles the tempers somewhat but seems to flame their attraction. And when some initial misunderstandings are cleared up and nothing but their clothes are in the way, it doesn't take long for them to ignite.

*****

You couldn't be further apart than these two. Not only in background, but in life styles, expectations, hopes.....just about anything and everything. It's going to be an interesting starting point for the first full novel to take off from!!

Jade......oh, Jade... a snooty brat, rather full of herself and what she thinks she deserves and should have. A very structured outline she has in mind for her future, the privilege of the rich. But I see hope for her, there is a soft core there aching to come out, a less selfish side that has been overlayered with years of spoiling and indulging. She shows glimpses of the person she can become.......the steel spine is there......now lets see if she can develop a strong personality as well!

Potty-mouth!! Ryder can't spell out a sentence without swearing up a storm.....it helps, I guess, to paint the contrast between the characters from the get go..... but tone it down, buddy. I know you're badass.....no need to lay it on so thick. Sometimes less is more, ya know? This man has had a godawful childhood, some of what is described is truly hard to read, so I warn you if you are sensitive. He has had no examples in his life whatsoever, of what a love looks like or feels like. NONE. Only now, as an adult does he see it around him.....

To me, Ryder is by far the more interesting character, although I think Jade is going to have to turn out to be one tough cookie if she is going to be able to handle a complex man like him. Very, very curious to see where this is going to take us.......

✨A sexy damaged biker & an entitled legal princess..... icepack anyone??✨
