MAKE YOU MINE

4.5 of 5 Stars

After meeting Alex in the 1st book, we know him as a hard ass selfish business man. He has let his past run his life. Things haven't changed much since he got those damn dice from Tremain. Knowing that they will lead him to the man he despises. He know he can't go alone, so he needs to convince Katya his female bodyguard to go as his lover in disguise.

Katya has enjoyed her time working for Mr. St.James but she is needed at home. She needs to keep a promise from years before. When telling Alex she must go he turns the tables on her. Offering her something she can't refuse. The more you get to know Katya's story you can see past the Russian soldier and to the caring woman inside.

The last thing either of them expected was to find themselves as friends. Confiding in each other. Finding peace as a result of each others presence. The connection the form once they let the barriers fall away is something neither of them have experienced before.

The suspense of what to expect at the poker game of all poker games will keep you flipping page after page. Add to that the growing connection between two people who seem like the odd couple. What a smoking ball of excitement. Can't wait to move along with book 3.
